    It is a CSS conflict, if you disable all your plugins and temporarily switch over to the twenty-ten theme it will most likely fix itself. You can then enable your custom theme and plugins, one at a time, checking to see which plugin/theme makes the text and background in your TinyMCE editor white. Good luck.
