[Plugin: Cart66 Lite :: WordPress Ecommerce] any ideas on how to implement order tracking?

Hi,

I am using cart66-lite and I am very perfectly happy with it.

However, I would like to ask if there is any way to implement basic order tracking. For instance, sending a simple mail when the product is dispatched.

I know this does not need a “special” plugin and can be done manually. I am just in search of some ideas.

What I want is a plugin that would let me create mail templates and send the one I want to the customer I want, telling him/her that the ordered product has just been dispatched, or it will take some more time to be dispatched due to stock shortage, etc.

I also checked the pro version of cart66 and I saw it does not support such a thing.

Any ideas would be grateful.
