    also the form for customer information is displayed for digital downloads.

  • I’m having a similar issue with Cart66 Lite 1.1.3 … we had a nightmare with wp e-commerce, paid for the gold cart, it’s broken and buggy plus NO SUPPORT.

    So I started playing around with Cart66….. love it so-far. We plan on buying the paid version. During testing on my MAMP localhost, the cart empty’s on Chrome (beta 12), but it stays put in Safari, and I can even go so far as using my paypal sandbox. Why does it work on one browser but not the other? I even tried renaming the site URL to 127.0.0.1 and this breaks Safari and still doesn’t fix Chrome.

    Any help would be appreciated. Also may I suggest you incorporate ShipWire? I would love that feature. Great work guys, you’re finally bringing a real shopping cart to WordPress. I like how I can customize my pages the way I want, and hook the buy button into where I may use it. All the other carts create this horrible looking product pages, which I don’t want to use. Thanks again!

    @matthewdlyons Are the products subscriptions or membership products? You can only have 1 of those products in the cart at a time so it automatically replaces the existing one with the new one.

    Thanks. Either by the act of deactivating and reactivating the Cart66 plugin, making some changes in the permalinks, or sheer magic, the cart is fully functional! Thanks for the suggestions and tips.

    I’ve cart66 1.1.2 and I’m still experiencing the “empty cart” bug with IE 7 (not Chrome, FF and Safari).
    I’ve activated/deactivated the plugin (the DB has the cart_session table)
    I’ve deactivated all the plugins
    I’ve checked the permalinks
    There’s not the [clear_cart] shortcode on the pages
    I’ve PHP 5.1 but the issue should has been resolved with 1.1.2 version

    What could I do anymore?

    did you try resetting the security, privacy and advanced options for IE?

    i don’t have 7, but i just re-tested with 9 and it seems to work ok

    also C66 1.1.4 was just released – give that a whirl (the css bug was fixed that was introduced in 1.1.3 as well)

    yes, but without success
    and I’ve seen that leaving Chrome inactive for long time (more than an hour) reproduces the problem (empty car on Chrome too)
    I’ll try the last version on an offline site

    think that might be security feature? i can’t recall, but you could check the docs. how long is a “long time”?

    The Cart66 Session times out after 30 minutes. So if you leave your cart unattended for 30+ minutes it will be empty when you return. Likewise, if you are logged in to Cart66 as a Cart66 member and are idle for 30+ minutes you will have to log in again.

    ok, but after 30+ minutes I can’t buy anything else because the cart get empty by himself every time I try to fill it. I have to reopen the browser to have the cart working properly (at least in my case).
    I’ve just pointed that because in IE 7 I’ve always the behaviour described above (I thought this could have been useful for debugging)

    I am having the same issues…this is really starting to annoy me and my client. It only seems to happen when a coupon code is being used.

    There are no conflicting plugins..
    or [clear_cart]

    I am having the same problem as Paolo. I am using Cart66-lite 1.1.4 and the cart is shown as empty in IE 8 but works fine in Chrome and Firefox. I tried adjusting my security settings in IE8 but no luck. Let me know if someone knows of a setting i need to change. thanks!

    Hi again, nevermind on my issue, it is working for me on IE 8. It was an issue with my newly added addon domain that was confusing Cart66. The nice people at HostGator helped me get it all sorted out today, and it is working very nicely!

    umh, browsing the cookies saved in my browser I see that the Cart66SID cookie is bound with https://www.mydomain.com but the other cookies of the site are bound with mydomain.com: I guess that’s the problem indeed the cookies of sharepoint-cafe.com are all bounded to sharepoint-cafe.com
    Then, do anyone know how to fix that? Thanks
