• On activation I got this error and WordPress failed to run:

    Error 330 (net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED): Unknown error.

    I had to delete the cart66-lite plugin folder to get WordPress back.

    Using a standard WordPress 3.1 install, UTF-8, English.

  • Did you install from the zip file directly or did you unzip and FTP the folder first? Did you have other plugins installed? If so, can you tell me which ones and which theme you were using?

    Hi ZigPress. This sounds like an odd error to be receiving. How did you install Cart66? Did you upload it through the WordPress plugins panel in your WordPress admin or did you manually unzip and upload the cart66-lite folder? Does your server run anything like gzip compression? Perchance did you accidentally manually upload the zip file rather than the unzipped cart66-lite folder? Just trying to see if I can get some more information so we can resolve this problem. Thanks!

    I installed it from within WordPress admin (Plugins > Add New > Search). My setup is a standard WAMP installation on a Windows XP PC, with Apache 2.2.11, PHP 5.3.0 and MySQL 5.1.36. Mod_deflate is enabled.

    The WordPress 3.1 installation is my testbed, with no other plugins active except My Page Order. The theme is custom but very simple – just the minimum code required to have working loops, widgets and menus. I’ve had various other plugins working on the installation without problems.

    After I recovered things, I noticed that it had created its tables and options before crashing.

    Hope this info helps.
