[Plugin: CaPa Protect] 'Pages' widget un-excluding excluded pages

The plugin seemed to be working well until we discovered that our excluded pages were appearing in the ‘Pages’ widget (placed in the footer (L) of our site).
Might you be able to suggest a fix?
