Plugin can not be activated – FATAL ERROR – upgrade to 2.06

  • I just tried to upgrade to v2.06 but the plugin can not be activated because of a fatal error. I had to downgrade to v1.3.88

    The same problem. When I update the plugin – the Fatal Error appears.
    If I install it on a blank wordpress site, or on a site, where ultimate member was never installed – it installs and activates.
    Is there any workaround?

    Same problem here, update went good now working with 2.0.7 but I am unable to active. Fatal error :-(.

    Tried disabling all plugins, did not work.. Also tried downgrading, but no success

    Not a real solution but I downgraded all the way back to 1.3.88, just to get back on track.. Other sites did actually upgrade without any problems..

    I disabled all other plugins, switched to basic theme (2017) and then the UM activation was successful. Then I activated all the plugins and my theme, so everything is ok

    Tried updating to 2.0.11 that worked well, although a message on the error that the index file is missing. Still hoping for a fix

    same here… does not reactivate, always shows fatal error

    @sabrina-schmitz i have also the same problem updating from 1.3.88 to last version 2.0.13

    I am getting a ton of registered users but Ultimate Member plug-in is broken and no one can comment and I cannot approve. I tried deactivating and upgrading. Here is my fatal error message:
    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/content/44/4411844/html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/includes/class-init.php on line 136

    I’m getting the same error Line 137
    I’m using version 2.0.25 Updated to WordPress version 4.9.problem in the class-init.php

    Please help my site is a membership only site. It doesn’t function without the plugin.
