[Plugin: Cache Images] i posted some new images, the plugin says it found them but no button shown

  • i just posted some new images and ran the plugin to try to cache them. I got the following message but there’s no button for me to select the domain. I have used this plugin before and was successful. I tried to delete and install it again but still not successful. Anyone pls help? Thanks!

    ‘We found some results. Choose the domains from where you want to grab images from by clicking on a button “Cache from this domain” next to it.

    Note: you must not close this page while caching is performed. You can close it when you see message “Done caching from…” and yellow bar is removed’

    Are those images on the same domain as your WordPress installation? If so, that might be a reason for this.

    the images are from yahoo blog, definitely not same domain as my wordpress.
    however, i tried to cache image today again and it works this time.
    i’ve deleted something from my domain in the past few days due to space issue – can this be the reason? will the system detect if there’s enough space in the domain before it performs run the caching process?

    Cache Images doesn’t do that kind of detections, but it’s possible that your system did and that it was preventing plugin from work.

    yes, i bought more storage space today, tried to perform the caching again and it works. Thanks!

    Just wondering why the number of images appear on the yellow bar are always less than the number originally detected?

    Because some images appear on more than one post so in first search they are counted separately, but when cached, they are cached from all posts so they can’t be cached again.
