[Plugin: Buzz Comments] Now that Buzz is gone, Is there any way to save Buzz comments?

So Google Buzz is now no more, but comments left by Buzz users still appear on my posts. I think this is good. Unfortunately, it means that I have to continue to keep this plugin running on my WordPress installation, as disabling the plugin means that Buzz comments disappear.
Has anyone found a way to copy Buzz comments over to the normal comment system, preserving the comments themselves, keeping useful metadata (date/time/url), etc.?
