[Plugin: Business Directory Plugin] Register page

It’s not a shortcode, you need to change the URL you want to redirect to in Directory->Manage Options, Registration tab.

For example, if you need your users to visit this page:

https://site/register

Then use that URL for the login URL in the Registration tab.

That’s is simple, but I want to know how it will be integrated in my business directory.

When a new user comes to my site he should first register, how can I achieve that. I know that when I change the page Directory->Manage Options, Registration tab. from here it will be done, but how data integrated into our business directory plugin?

Hi Tina,

Having a user be forced to login on visiting ANY page in your website is something a membership plugin could enforce, but it’s outside the scope of Business Directory’s functionality.

If a user isn’t registered, they will be presented with a login form and a register link (for those that aren’t logged in OR previously signed up with an account).

That’s pretty standard behavior on most websites. Are you saying that this isn’t working somehow?

Do users register with wordpress login or can I create a separate login plugin for users to register and login?

Hi Raj,

Users should register with a standard WP login to use your business directory if you turn on Require Registration inside of BD.
