    When you activate Maintenance Mode an .htaccess file is created and copied to your WordPress Root installation folder (same folder as wp-config.php). To manually get out of Maintenance Mode you can use FTP or your Control Panel and navigate to your WordPress Root installation folder and delete the .htaccess file. This will allow you to log back into your site.
