I am running both bulletproof security and w3 cache. When I enable bulletproof htaccess files I get these errors from w3 cache:

You’ve selected disk caching with enhanced mode however the .htaccess file is not properly configured. Please run chmod 777 /home/******/public_html/*********/.htaccess

You’ve enabled Browser Cache feature however the .htaccess file is not properly configured. Please run chmod 777 /home/******/public_html/*********/.htaccess

Is it possible for these two plugins to co-exist with all the features enabled? Or should I disable some of the caching functions (I would rather not of course ??

    Thanks for your awesome plugin!

Yep they work fine together, but since W3 Total Cache writes to the root htaccess file you will need to redeploy W3TC the first time you activate BPS because the existing htaccess file that you had will get overwritten by BPS. Once you have redeployed W3TC your should see that htaccess code in your root htaccess file. You can manually then copy that code to your BPS master files if you want so that if you ever have to reactivate BPS again in your root folder then the W3TC htaccess code will be in the BPS master file. Or just redeploy W3TC again instead of manually doing the copy and paste thing. ?? Thanks.
