Those are recommendations. Please read the Read Me help information. There are 100’s of different web hosts and dozens of different Server configurations so i can only make recommendations and also explain in that help info that this may not work for all web hosts and all web servers. Each web host has unique requirements. It is recommended that you check with your web host before just experimenting.

It also sounds like you are on some ancient Server that is using an outdated DSO Server configuration.

BPS is probably not for you it is has modern and advanced coding so you may have to just do things the old fashioned way and do things manually for your particular Server.

Luckily 99.99% of people do not have these issues. Maybe you should consider getting a new web host that is more modern and up to date?
