Plugin Bug – Registration

When ‘Enable Hide Backend’ is selected the ability for users to register using the native WordPress registration functionality is broken.

The reasoning & a fix for this is discussed here, however this involves overwriting core WordPress files, which should never be done.

Another fix is proposed in the aforementioned thread whereby it’s simply a matter of adding some code to the functions.php file, however I cannot get this to work.

‘Hide Backend’ is one of the strongest features of Better WP Security and we really shouldn’t have to turn it off in order for users to be able to register. Would be great if this could be addressed in the next update.
