[Plugin: Bug Library] feature request: alternative to colorbox

  • Hi,

    Interesting plugin ?? I am not using it yet but I have a question:

    Because I am already running another jquery lightbox thing (Easy FancyBox) on my site, I would prefer to not load colobox at the same time.

    I can hack colorbox out (I suppose) but it might be a nice idea to make it configurable. Like an option to either use the integrated colorbox or an external one: in my case fancybox.

    Is this feasible at all? If so, I’m available for some testing and aid with necessary code…

    Each lightbox plugin has a different set of parameters and a different way of calling it. So giving a choice of lightboxes would be very difficult. The only think I can think of would be to give a choice between colorbox and the built-in wordpress thickbox but I cannot start supporting a ton of different lightboxes. In addition to the different syntax, different versions of the same plugin, such as fancybox, take different arguments, making this even more impossible.
