• Installation is okay, but when I activate it, BP makes Apache crash; I will have to delete it from plugins folder, stop and restart Apache. I have tried doing this in Dashboard and manually as well. Nothing seems to work.

    Same problem as before, I just want to know if I am the only one experiencing this problem.

    Anyway, I am going to seek alternatives…

    I’ve never see it crash (and I’m running 1.2.8 on my 3.1 install right now). It MIGHT be your PHP type (suphp vs … er somethign else)

    Per his reference link, BP working on webhost. He cannot get it running on local install.

    @mercime, yes, I’ve already tried to change the RAM to 96MB, it is not the problem.
    @ipstenu, I will try to post on buddypress.org-!

    I have just tried disabling all plugins, using original theme, still no luck…
