  • Hi,

I modified added it into the file and the menu showed up. But it will not save the settings I modified.

Every time I clicked “Save” I will be redirected to Site Admin screen, and when I return to Network Admin screen and look at the settings, they are still in default setting. (no change)

    Any clue?

    Thanks,

    Thanks again Ipstenu!

Works fine but the css wasn’t hiding buttons for my child theme despite having the the right IDs and classes for them to be hidden. See the other thread for how I fixed that.

Settings updated just fine for me. Did you insert the line above in addition to the existing add_action or replace it? It’s meant to be in addition to the existing add_action, and above it.

In addition to, but I stopped using it since BuddyPress 1.5 has that stuff built in.

I’m doing my best to make my theme and setup BP 1.5 friendly – can you point me to a resource about how to restrict group creation using BP 1.5 Ipstenu?

    Many thanks!

There is a checkbox under admin -> buddypress – “Restrict group creation to Site Admins?”

This plugin has been updated for bp 1.5 but extends the default functionality for wp_caps and different rules (ie, max forums created, max forum admin, min days registered, min activity updates, etc)

Pardon me for “hijacking” a post…..but can anyone tell me how to “start a post” in this forum?

    Much appreciated!

It’s a little confusing with the breadcrumb not working as expected, but hit the link under “tags” in the side bar and that’ll let you start a new topic.

    Or hit this:
