    is this still an issue, it works for me on my dev server. I wonder if it has to do with permalinks. or missing buddypress components.

    First of all: thanks a lot for that plugin – I LIKE IT

    There is a permalink issue. I’m using a de_DE version of WP and BP and that way my groups directory isn’t /groups but /gruppen – that said the group tag links in a single group header are going to 404.

    Don’t know if I was clear: the links of v2.0.3 in a group header are NOT working at all for a localized version of BP with a BP Group Slug other that “groups”. Line 428 in your code…
    …my workaround is
    $link = $bp->root_domain . '/' . "gruppen" . '/tag/' . urlencode( $item );
