[Plugin: BuddyPress Group Email Subscription] No Mails are sent out

    Me too. Not working at all. BP 1.2.8 and plugin version 2.8.1. Nada.

    Update: My appologies for the above post. It does work but the thing I didn’t know is that the “New Topics” option does not consider group updates (activity feed posts) to be “Topics”. “New Topics” is for Forum posts only. We had all our member set to “New Topics” and 99% of our site activity happens in the activity feed (forums in BuddyPress confuse the heck out of people). So no one was getting any emails. The workaround is to use “Daily Digest”. Not ideal, but now I know. Seems like an odd decision to make some options ignore certain types of activity. But anyway…
