[Plugin: BuddyPress] Comment author link removing spaces in name

I am getting a Page Not Found error when clicking on the name of the comment author on only some of the authors. When a user name has a space in it the get_comment_author_url removes the space from the name and goes to the wrong page.

The first comment author page doesn’t work, and the second one does. I need to know if I can change the get_comment_author_url to something else to get the links to work.
