[Plugin: BTCNew] Anonymous comments

We’re getting this too. I tracked it back to the Backtype api, which has been returning strange, mostly empty responses to searches. The responses contained tweet ids but had no content or username. When I perform the same search on the backtype website, I get most of the data I expect; Only the api seemed to be affected. I sent a support request to Backtype two weeks ago but never heard back and now that Twitter has acquired Backtype and (I assume) shut down further development on their API, I’m not hopeful this will be resolved.

Is there another good WP plugin that interfaces the Twitter API directly?
