plugin broken since php8.0 update

I’ve been on support with my wordpress provider for the past week since i’ve been locked out of my wp-admin since then. I’ve focused the problem to glossary and I am guessing it started misbehaving with the php 8.0 update from last month (I do not access the site often).

Anyone else having this problem?

I’ve got a lot of content in glossary (400 heavy entries) and this makes me very nervous. How can I export the content to an agnostic format for backup?

edit: it is independent of theme.

edit2: error is: “Deprecated: File Theme without header.php is?deprecated?since version 3.0.0 with no alternative available. Please include a header.php template in your theme. in?/var/www/wptbox/wp-includes/functions.php?on line?5583” and likewise for sidebar and footer. I see some other plugins have had this problem. I don’t have this problem for other pages/plugins.
