plugin broken on 3.9.1, any alternative?

In the mean time I have solved it without a plugin by using a filter from GF directly:

this isn’t working for me anymore. how did you use the filters? I have Custom Post Types setup, but only the Title and Body fields are working. Custom meta fields show up and selectable in Gravity Forms, but when I fill out the form, nothing shows in the newly created Custom Post Type!
