Plugin broken

    Anyone have problems with this plugin since upgrading?

    I had the plugin working fine in 0.5, then upgraded to 0.5.1 and then to 0.5.2 and its not working.

    I checked the console thinking it may be a JS issue but nothing.. it’s just not firing at all.

    Any clue on what may be going on since the new update?

    None of the shortcodes I use and theme integration (website_before and website_after) php tags have not changed.

    Hi @robmullineux,

    Could you tell what isn’t working? The sites I run are all working fine with the 0.5.2 update.
    0.5.1 was an update that gave an error due to a patch that didn’t went through into the WP repo.

    The triggers aren’t firing for some reason.

    I checked the Console and get no Javascript errors.

    I even deleted the sidebars and started again but no luck.

    I wrap the site in the before_website and after_website tags and implement the shortcode to trigger the sidebars but no luck yet ??

    Hi @robmullineux,

    Please make sure the update to 0.5.2 was successful. It probably is but just to be sure.

    Could you share some info with me:
    – Site URL for me to take a look to verify theme compat.
    It’s probably not the case, but sure to be sure: Please keep in mind that if you didn’t create a child theme it might be that your theme has updated and the hooks aren’t there anymore.
    – If possible: a temporarily user account on that site for me to check some errors (email: [email protected]).

    Hi Jory,

    Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

    I am using a theme built from scratch based around Bootstrap 4.

    Stupid question but has the version of jQuery been changed for the plugin?

    I am currently working on my localhost but will see if I can get something on a staging server for you to see.

    Hi Rob,

    No problem!
    Let me know when you have a setup for me to look at.
    Its always hard to pinpoint the exact error on anothers installation.
    I’m using jQuery from WP core so no version changes has been made on my side.

    If your issue is on a production site as well I’d have to advice to downgrade a previous version that does work for now.

    Sorry for the inconvenience, let me know if I can take a look at your installation so I could solve this issue or at least find any possible compatibility errors.

    Great news Jory!

    I have the plugin working, I deleted the plugin and re-installed.

    Not sure what was going on there (cleared cache and everything).

    Apologies for the late reply, been a busy couple of days.

    Ah that is great!
    One possibility is that the update of the plugin itself wen’t wrong. It doesn’t happen often but isn’t impossible.
