plugin broke the URLs for my images in desktop view

If you want to switch off the plugin, you can just uninstall the plugin or switch off the Replace image URLs setting. After you do this, make sure to clear the caching.

Regarding your site, in case you want to further use Optimole, I see that you have Jetpack Site’s Accelerator on for images. Using this with Optimole might trigger unexpected results, so it will be better to switch it off.
