Plugin Broke after Update and No support.

    Was a great plugin before the update that completely redesigned it “completely” killed it.
    After the update, the plugin would only show the carousel images. No buttons, text or arrow icons. Just the images.

    Gone into the Carousel Slider settings for my shortcode and the settings were fine. So I just saved and it broke all the images on the product pages and including the carousel slider shortcode.

    I went to ADL Plugins and sent an email explaining my issue. I got a reply back after two days and they asked for an administrator account so they can see whats going on. So I sent it to them and I got no reply back after a couple of days. I disabled the account and still with a useless plugin that once worked like a charm is a horrible broken mess with a lack of communication from ADL.

    So now I’m looking for other alternatives or try to find a older version because I cannot use this one and it’s disabled and if enabled renders my product images on all product pages with the shortcode broken.

    I hope it eventually gets fixed but the lack of support doesn’t help. ?? Sad Faced.

  • You might want to try WP Rollback to revert to version 2.1 – at least that’s what fixed it for me when I had this problem. Maybe you have to create your carousel from scratch after reverting though…

    I guess I was being too impatient. I got a reply back from ADL and I guess they have been super busy with others having issues with the new version. Make sense for the long wait. I have installatron but unfortunately, I deleted the backup without noticing any issues.

    I’ll check out WP Rollback but first I rather ADL have a look at the plugin and see what the real issue is first.

    Seems to be working now.
    I reinstalled the plugin and the slider still wasn’t working.
    I then changed a setting and clicked ‘Update’ to save and the slider started working correctly. ??

    Yeah it did that for me too until I created a new product page in Woocommerce and stopped working again.

    When I was trying to figure out the issue it turned out that the carrousel plug-in conflicted with Advanced Ads plug-in. So I had to decide on what to choose to use. I choose Advanced Ads and just got rid of this plugin.

    When the carousel wasn’t working and just displaying images I noticed that two of the links were picking up old broken URL’s. So maybe changing the URL’s of products currently in the carousel will also cause it to break. I’m not using Advanced Ads plug-in but I am using quite a few other plugins so I’ll need to do quite a lot of testing to see whats causing the problem. On the other hand I may just look for another carousel plugin or maybe just use static images.
