  • Hi,
I’v got the same issue, no more text editor so i couldn’t give a try to this plugin.

As a temporary fix, I’ve edited the tinymce_gridster_shortcode_plugin.min.js file, located in plugins/cbach-wp-gridster/tinymce/

I’ve changed every instance of tinymce.dom.Event to tinymce.DOM and although this does make the visual editor work again, it doesn’t bring back the Gridster button in the visual editor, so you can’t add new grids.

Only a temporary solution, but it might provide a starting point.

Thanks Plinth but is Carsten Bach !! ??

Not sure what you mean, @airsid, but in the end I had to roll back to 3.8.3 to enable the visual editor. Hope this gets a fix soon.

Thanks and Carsten Bach is the plugin’s creator so I was calling him for rescue ??

Unfortunately, I have the same issue with 3.9.

    Nice work, Plinth!

But help us Carsten Bach!! Help us!

    Dear gridster-users,

I had a long offline-period, because of personel reasons.
Sorry, that you had to help yourself in the past.

I’m going to fix the issues in the upcoming two days and will release some fixes as soon as possible.

    Best Carsten

Hi Carsten – is there any update on progress so far?

    Hi Carsten,

How are you getting on with the fix for this? It would be great to get an update on this issue as it’s a great plugin and we’d rather not have to find an alternative.

Thanks for your dedication on this.

    Hi Carsten,

Any progress with the fix? I am really waiting for it to start building a new website for one of our customers.

maybe there’s other alternative for this plugin, at least that’s what I hope

Carsten seems not to have time for the upgrade to fix latest issues

as a matter of fact, this plugin hasn’t gone through any upgrades since Apr 2013

however, at first glance looked to be a promising tool

Hello, any news about that issues ?

Waiting on this fix now as well. @plinth where are all the locations we need to update TinyMCE to get things to work?
