    Hi there!

When I have this plugin enabled, my site no longer redirects to the https version of the URL, like it otherwise normally would if someone went to the http version of the link. So if someone tries to go to the http version, it will load just fine without redirecting to https.

The site is set up as https in the general WordPress settings.

When I disable this plugin, the issue goes away and my site will no longer load in http anymore, and will always redirect to https.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @silvercode,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

Business Directory Plugin does not attempt to manage your site-wide redirects from http to https in any way. That sounds like you may have either a conflict, or other things were being changed at the same time.

I would strongly suggest a conflict test to find the real source of the problem.

Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/

I would be very surprised if running BD only and a default theme that you would see this issue, but following this will help you find the real culprit.

    Hi there!

We have all plugins disabled and running Twenty Twenty theme, and the issue persists.

I have had this issue with various versions of this plugin in the past too. It was fixed in recent versions, but appears to have returned again.

Can I send you a login for your review?

    Hi @silvercode,

It’s possible that your permalink structure needs to be flushed AFTER you do the full conflict check. Did you do that as well?

Failing that, we can discuss more offline. Contact us here with a link to this forum thread: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/
