The booking plugin in our site breaks every week.

It only seems to happen for visitors that have been before.

This is my best guess diagnosis as orders are still coming in during it being broken. If I visit incognito, it is still working. If I visit with my normal browser (as in the one that I have already visited the product booking page with during the previous week), which was logged out of the site at the point of visiting, it is broken.

Refreshing the page doesn’t fix it.

Logging in as an admin flushes it out for that user. After I log out it is working again.

Flushing the cache fixes it for all users.

We normally get reports once a week saying that a user is seeing the booking calendar just spinning.

When it happens, if I go to the page and it is spinning, the api has returned -1 for the content, and 403 http code.

Cache wp-rest calls is turned off. (This was because I was having trouble using the rest based admin functions of Redirection – it was stuck cached and I couldn’t flush it)

I have already set up ESI and added in an exception for the cookie with that plugin. Plugin is WooCommerce Bookings. Nonce is find-booked-day-blocks.

I really don’t know what to do to resolve this. Please can anyone help me?

I feel you may get the nonce name wrong

please do a text search over the booking plugin files , with keyword nonce , see what it returns.
