I’ve found that on a number of my different WordPress installs Async JavaScript breaks the Envira Gallery Lite plugin galleries. I do have the plugin excluded in “Plugin Exclusions”.

Please visit the link I’ve provided. On that page is an Envira Gallery Lite gallery. Can you help me determine how to resolve this?

    Many thanks.

It looks as though I’ve resolved this. It seems that I needed to exclude the Woocommerce plugin as well. I suspect that is because I am using the Woocommerce Storefront theme.

    I’ll mark this as resolved.

can you try also excluding that gallery’s JS from autoptimize JS optimization?

    great job fixing it! ??

It looks like I was a bit quick to call this resolved. Concerning your suggestion to also exclude that gallery’s JS from Autoptimize: How can I determine what exactly to exclude?

    Thanks.

well, assuming the gallery-plugins “lives” in wp-content/plugins/envira-gallery/, you could add that (or plugins/envira-gallery/ or envira-gallery/) to the comma-separated list of JS optimization exclusions. There’s more info on troubleshooting & how to exclude in AO’s FAQ.

    hope this helps,
    frank
