Their support has been useless, and when I suggested modifying some code that was wrong
– support is unable to modify code
– we log every feature request and implement them on first come first served basis
they replied with that to change that one line of code (I provided them the line of code because they have encrypted the files), they replied threatening to sue me for supposed violation of their non-existent patents
– we never threaten anybody, so it is a pure insinuation.
– we protect IP of our premium solutions and not obliged to decrypt it on your request.
which would be invalidated if they even existed based on them uploading the plugin to WordPress and agreeing to their terms.
– our free plugins are using standard license and your can use them as it suits you.
Then, when our Pro license ran out, it not only disabled the pro (which you are supposed to be able to use it – just not get updates, but it disabled the free version as well and only quotes shipping for other countries).
– our premium solution follow a subscription to a service model, so once subscription has expired you won’t have access to premium features, but free features will continue to work. It is clearly described on the website and you have agreed to it when placed the order.
Ultimately, we switched, because after looking at the code, there are so many bad practices and even the free version is rife with errors, a backdoor, and slows the sites down.
– unfortunately these kind of statement have no grounds, if you have observed any issues you could have reported them to us and we would have addressed them.
– live shipping rates require API calls which would add latency and may affect the speed certain pages are loaded with.
