Plugin Breaks Anchor Tags

It seems that this plugin rewrites anchor URLs to have a slash after them, essentially breaking my anchor tags. For example, https://www.example.com/#anchor1 will rewrite the URL to https://www.example.com/#/anchor1 and will not jump to the section I need it to. Similarly, https://www.example.com#anchor1 rewrites to https://www.example.com/#/anchor1 and does the same thing. I disabled the plugin and it fixed the issue and only happens when the plugin is turned on. Is there a way around this?
