• If Groups, is disabled in BuddyPress Components, BP-group-control throws a huge error, requiring manual moving of the plugin to re-enable Groups.

    It assumes that Groups is enabled (since it’s dealing with groups specifically, that seems like a safe assumption), but a simple check to see if the Groups Component is enabled would make it more user friendly.

    Just experienced this myself. Running WP 3.1, BuddyPress v1.2.8, and BP Group Control v.9 BETA.

    Renaming the plugin directory bp-group-control will fix the issue, but as benklocek mentioned, it should be smart enough to do a self-check.
