    Hello,

Could it be possible that the IP Geo Block plugin blocks my label printer?
I do have a “Dymo Labelwriter 450” and this printer is running via “Dymo Label Web Service” on a specific port. I installed the plugin Woocommerce Dymo Print and I am unable to print from my wordpress/woocommerce dashboard and I was wondering if this is because of your plugin and what settings I need to check?

    Best,
    Andy

    Hi @rumpelstilzchen94,

I was wondering if this is because of your plugin

    Unfortunately, it could be happened.

The most probably cause would be the incompatibility with woo plugin and my plugin. The following is my assumption of successful scenario:

    • You request woo plugin to print something via ajax.
    • Woo plugin send the requested contents to the Dymo print server.

In this scenario, my plugin may block that request under certain conditions.

So I’d ask you to the followings step by step:

    1. Select "init" action hook at Validation timing in Validation rule settings section.
    2. Unselect Prevent Zero-day Exploit at Admin area, Admin ajax/post or Plugins area.

If a combination with No.1 and one of No.2 solved this issue, then you may be able to revive your settings before No.1 and No.2 changes and specify the “action” in “Exceptions“.

In this case, “Find blocked requests” button can help you to solve the issue.

Anyway, as I can not have any experience with woocommerce or other plugin that you adopt, I should ask you to contact me at tokkonopapa at yahoo dot com for more detailed investigation.

    Thanks for asking!

    Hi @rumpelstilzchen94,

Thank you for your letting me know about your investigations. You reported me some other plugin seems to be the cause of this issue. But I’m not sure if the true cause is related to that plugin.

So please feel free to ask me something about your concerns at any time!

    Thanks.
