    Hello,
    the behaviour you are experiencing about widget titles probably depends on the theme in use. However there is a plugins that allows to hide widget titles on the frontend: Hide Widget Title.

    Marco,
    Thank you for the rapid reply suggesting that the “Hide Widget Title” widget would resolve the problem.

    It did not work, but the “Remove Widget Title” widget worked great.

    Appreciate your pointing me in the right direction.
