You forgot to mention that Big Fish Games has an affiliate program and that your affiliate ID is hardcoded into the plugin on line 195 of bigfishgames-syndicate.php. I figure it’s just an oversight on your part. It would be nice if there was an option to change it in the admin section. Or maybe you can mention it in the new readme.txt file that you should be diligently writing up ASAP. ??

  • Of course you can change affiliate id. It is FIRST option available to change on Options/Bigfishgames page (Settings/Bigfishgames in WordPress 2.5). Try to read Installation section, or take look to screenshot.

How are we supposed to use this plugin? All your readme does is tell me how to install it.

    Two notes:

This plugin DOES work with WP 2.6 ??

The plugin management page in the admin section DOES have a textbox field where you can change the affiliate code to your own… but it doesn’t work. You must edit the bigfishgames-syndicate.php file, as stated by gestroud above.

    1. Plugin work tested up to 2.7
    2. Affiliate code changed does not affect existing posts. Please manually remove post with old code and new post with new code will be created. You not need to edit .php file. It also have no affect existing posts.
