[Plugin: BigBlueButton] A dedicated server is needed for plugin to work

  • Using PuTTy, Could not find the /var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/bigbluebutton/WEB-INF/classes/bigbluebutton.properties without finding this information on a hosted space using WordPress, the SALT cannot be located. Without salt, it cannot integrate into WordPress unless it has been uploaded to that shared server. My guess, the plugin is designed for dedicated machines.

  • The plugin allows you to hook up to either a shared or dedicated BigBlueButton conferencing server.

    You can setup your own server by following directions on bigbluebutton.org or use commercial provider to get access to bbb in worldpress.
