[Plugin: Better WP Security] My site is gone, just a blank wordpress theme, after prefix tab

  • Hey ,
    I really need urgent help !
    I was upsetting the plugin , suddenly at the prefix tab i was sent to a wordpress reinstallation, I did follow the steps and after all I just had a blanket wordpress theme without my content . everything was gone. I really need your help to fix this please °!

    I am using a german version. Somehow I am not able to edit my wp-config.php!
    Help is really urgent

  • so you did let “better wp security” change your database prefix? bad…
    did break for me a few times at well, because it changes the database prefix, but doesn’t update the wp-config.php with the new prefix, you have to do it by hand!

    so check out the new database prefix (have a look in phpmyadmin or similar tool) and enter this into the wp-config.php at line “$table_prefix = ‘wp_’;” instead oh “wp_”, that should do the trick!
