[Plugin: Better WP Security] Blank page when backing up

  • Hi.

    I installed the plugin on m test site with no problems. All worked well and I was happy to install it on the live site. The test site is on a subdomain of the live site, but on the live site when I attempt to backup I just get a blank webpage. I haven’t done any of the other changes it suggests as I want to get this working first but so far haven’t figured out how.

    Any ideas?

  • I get the same problem on a site I have just installed the plugin on.

    I’ve installed this plugin several times on a number of websites without issues, but today when I tried to run a backup for the first time on this website from the admin area, I get a blank screen. I am assuming it might be a memory problem, but the site is on a VPS with plenty of memory.

    I have the same problem, first I got a blank page, then I allocated 256MB to WordPress and got this error:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/some-customer/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1446
