[Plugin: Better WordPress Minify] [Plugin: Better WordPress Minify] Remove Query String
-
To the developer:
Nice plugin, doesn’t break my Suffusion theme blog (www.astrasuite.com/astrablog) unlike WP-Minify.
I get a higher score in Google Page speed of 93%-95% from https://www.gtmetrix.com if I use the Minify functions of W3 Total Cache, which is fine for everything, except that it breaks my Nextgen Galleries. BWP-Minify does not and it works perfectly, and score is not really that far at 89-90%, so it’s fine. Actual running speed is similar anyway.
So I was looking at why Page Speed shows a slightly lower score, and it has the following recommendation:
“Remove query strings from static resources”
– “Resources with a “?” in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers. Remove the query string and encode the parameters into the URL for the following resources:”https://www.astrasuite.com/astrablog/wp-content/plugins/bwp-minify/min/?f=astrablog/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/jquery.form.js,astrablog/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/scripts.js
https://www.astrasuite.com/astrablog/wp-content/plugins/bwp-minify/min/?f=astrablog/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/css/nggallery.css
etc.
Most of it is related to bw-minify and the ?f used.
Can this be corrected, or is it an integral part of the BWP-Minify plugin ?
Just wondering, thanks …
