• I just tried it, and it does what it says it will do.

I agree with the people suggesting that it would be helpful if there were control over which pages or categories the background appears on. At the moment I’m using mostly Pages, which don’t have Categories nor Tags.

I happen to be using an iframe for one effect…resulting in two different backgrounds being visible and not at all the effect I’m after. I also have several different types of pages within one site, so it would be nice to specify a different NEXTGEN gallery for several pages.

I see that the Weaver theme has for each page things called “page-pre-header-code” and “page-header-insert-code”. I wonder if the Better Backgrounds “Developer” mode would work with that. Maybe “<img src='<?=background_image();?>’ />” can be inserted in those Weaver per-page fields. That might allow per-page control over the existence of a background, though not which backgrounds. If background_image() accepts parameters, such as a gallery name or ID, then there might be per-page control of which backgrounds should appear.

could you please add opacity support

Background without opacity to show beneath the posting text is kinda not nice in my opinion.

Clickable background and post/page background support
