• As Jeff already knows, I’m a *huge* fan of the Disable Gutenberg plugin. I’m using it on over 80 WordPress sites I currently manage.

Now, for the change request… when you activate the Disable Gutenberg plugin, it automatically disables the interface for everything, except Widgets, which must be manually disabled.

Can I recommend that when activating this plugin that the Widgets Gutenberg Blocks Editor is also disabled by default?

For the average person managing just a few (or even a single) site(s), this isn’t a major time saver.

For others like me, having to manually log into multiple sites to enable the classic widgets interface, after being able to do a batch activation via WP CLI can be time consuming. ??

Thanks for at least considering this (hopefully minor) change, Jeff!

Hey Douglas, I think this is a great idea given the nature of the plugin. Will roll it out for the next plugin update. Thanks for the feedback! ??

Just to follow up, this change is implemented in the next version of DG. Should be available later today. Thanks again Douglas.
