[Plugin: bbPress] User registration and login restrictions

    I use WordPress primarily as CMS (as opposed to blog). In the main content site, I do not want visitors/subscribers to register or log in.

    I am considering migrating my phpbb forums to WP bbpress plugin. While phpbb is much more powerful, there is something to be said about lower maintenance (theme etc) in an integrated approach.

    How does user registration and login work in bbpress relative to WordPress? Can I still have people register and login in bbpress even if I they aren’t allowed to register and login in WordPress?
