[Plugin: Basic Google Maps Placemarks] Text display next to map

I’m looking to put some text that is aligned to the right of the map but also flush (which is aligned left on the page). But everything typed after the short-code is bumped down to the bottom of the map. Would changing the map display to inline effect this at all? is their something obvious I’m overlooking : )? Thanks!
