[Plugin: baseballNuke] Uploading .csv stats not working

  • When I manually enter stats into the backend, the plugin works correctly and stats appear on the stats page of my site.

    However, when I try to upload a .csv that I created in Excel (and then saved as a .csv) I receive the error “Failed to import stats for game 770 ().” the game ID changes depending on the game, but the error appears on every game I try to upload stats for. The header of my Excel spreadsheet uses: jersey#, battOrd, baAB and baRuns just like the plugin explains to do.

    I’ve also tried disabling all other plugins, but the error still occurs.

    Is there any specific reason why I am not able to upload stats? It would be much easier for me to export GameChanger stats, then modify the headers and upload a .csv, than to manually enter everything.

    are you by any chance creating the CSV on a Mac?

    Yes. Excel for Mac: 2011. Should I try using a windows computer?

    Sorry for the very slow response. There is a known issue on my to do list with the CSV files generated on a Mac. CSV’s generated from a Windows computer will work. This will be fixed in the next release.
