• First of all: great plugin! love it!

    Second ?? :

    for a client I’m using this plugin on a shared hosting account. And when uploading the files to my Amazon S3 account I get the following error:
    [WARNING] curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set

    Safe mode is off, but the open_basedir is set and I cannot change this. Is there a way you can work around this in this plugin?

    Thanks ??

  • I am having this problem as well. I’m not quite sure what open_basedir means. I’m assuming this is a php setting in php.ini?

    Edit: Ah, yes, i see it in the phpinfo:

    open_basedir /var/www/vhosts/tamaratemple.com/httpdocs:/tmp no value

    So not sure what to do about that… Why does backwpup need open_basedir to not be set? This is something that is set by the server management software and I can’t really get rid of it.

    You can nothing do…. ??
    The Plugin works normely.

    @tamouse
    Where came the massage is it on S3 uploads, too ?

    than i must look for an update of the s3 lib.

    @daniel:

    Yes the message happened during an upload to S3.

    Here’s the log: https://pastie.org/2125062

    an update to the s3 lib come with the next version in one day i think.
    that hopfoly resolves that problem.
