[Plugin: BackWPup] Fatal error

I get a fatal memory error, and the backup won’t stop either until I hit ‘Clear’ but the log shows the job as ‘Ok’ but doesn’t show the error. The backup zip size is smaller than the file size shown on the job.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 38797312 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20 bytes) in /home/crivici/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/app/libs/pclzip.lib.php on line 3082

So, now I don’t know if the job has completed successfully or not! What do I do now?
