• Hi, hosting site on GoDaddy. BackUpWordPress previously worked no problems. Suddenly now getting error message “No valid archive method found.” Under BackUpWordPress/Help/Server Info ZipArchive is Yes and zip command is zip. Latest version running. Tried running again and same error and the download link it produces only forces redirect to dashboard home page.

    Please advise.

    Thank you

  • I’m getting the exact same thing, too!

Hey Guys any updates about this issue? thanks!

    Hi

Worpdress 4.3.1 in Dreamhost Server, same problem.

    Thanks.

Paul from Human Made posted on another thread that there’s an update due tomorrow (monday).

This error message can be safely ignored until we release a fix. The backups will still complete successfully, If they don’t, it’s unrelated.
I wouldn’t advise reverting to a previous version.

Same issue. And cant download the backup it directs to admin home screen. Look forward to a fix. Doesn’t bother me but my clients get worried. Thanks for a great plug-in by the way.

It seems to be working now. I’m watching it though, because I’m still getting this message:

BackUpWordPress has detected a problem. wp-cron.php is returning a 403 Forbidden response which could mean cron jobs aren't getting fired properly. BackUpWordPress relies on wp-cron to run scheduled backups, and more generally relies on HTTP loopback connections not being blocked for manual backups. See the FAQ for more details.

But the previous version worked fine with BulletProof Security, so it’s still problematic. Here are my system settings:
