[Plugin: BackUpWordPress] Issues with Version 1.0.5

    Hello,

    I just upgraded my backup wordpress plugin and i have the following issues.

    a) The backup options menu is missing from the control panel due to which i’ve no control left over the backup’s generated.
    b) It is generating complete backup’s only and not sql only backups. Also it has stopped sending emails.
    c) The directory used for backup’s before version 1.0.3 was ‘backup’. Now the directory has been changed to ‘backups’.

    I need the options back and also the emails. How to go about that?

    Please help.

    Thanks for taking the time to report the issues you are experiencing and apologies that the update hasn’t been as smooth as I would have hoped.

    Version 1.0 represents a complete re-write of the BackUpWordPress plugin with the aim to greatly simplify the setup and configuration. Most options have been removed and the old system of backup rules and schedules has been replaced with a simple complete daily backup.

    a) The top level backups menu has moved, instead you’ll find it under tools -> backups.

    b) By default a complete backup runs once a day. If you update to version 1.1 it provides some advanced options which can be used to turn on database only backups

    c) The default directory has moved to backups, I’m sorry your setting got lost in the update, you can change your backups directory by adding define( 'HMBKP_PATH', 'your desired path' ); to your wp-config.php file.
