[Plugin: Backup] Google Drive Authorization revoked after Save changes

    Good job hel.io, but… Using V 2.0.1 on a shared host. I set the Auth parameters for Google Drive and the plugin says “Authorization was successful”. Than I click on “Save changes” and “All changes were saved successfully” appears on upper right but then the window with Authorization parameters is reset from Revoke to Authorize again. Zip files are stored on the server but obviously not on Google Drive.

  • I have just spent a few minutes trying to reproduce your experience but everything worked fine. I don’t know what the problem might be. Did you upgrade from a lower version of the plugin? If so, reactivate the plugin, that might help.

    Solved: the problem was due to curl set to off.
    One question on backup options. I run a default WordPress install so, I understand that I do not need to select Uploads and Plugins in “What to back up” since they are already in Content directory. Is it right?

    In your case, if you have Content selected it doesn’t matter if Uploads and Plugins are selected or not.
