[Plugin: Automatic Youtube Video Posts Plugin] Theme / Plugin Integration Issue

  • Hello,
    My site is as follows:
    tv.redheadrehabs.com

    I am running WP 3.2.1
    AYVPP 2.3.1
    Headlines Theme from Woo Themes

    My issue is as follows:
    When the plugin is activated, my posts will show on the main page, but when you click “read more” to see the videos, the screen flashes for a second where you can see the video and the post as it should appear then it simply displays my theme background and the only thing you can see is the far left edge of the “share this” bar.

    Notes on the issue:
    1. When I deactivate the plugin, the posts show fine minus the videos since the plugin is deleted
    2. When I leave the plugin enabled, but change theme to one of the default wordpress themes, the posts show correctly

    There must be some reason the theme and the plugin aren’t playing nice, but I can’t seem to determine where the issue is.

    Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

    So it appears that it only fails with themes that have some sort of rotating “feature article” function.

    Otherwise it works just fine…

    I have been disabling the plugin for normal operations, then reenabling it when I need to upload videos, then manually including the embed code in the post so that it will work when the plugin is off…

    Again, any way to do this automatically and function with “Feature Article” themes would be MUCH appreciated ??

    Does your theme have any lightbox technology installed?
